The Department of Transport and Regional Planning (ITT), located in Module B1, North Campus of UPC, offers undergraduate and graduate instruction within the School of Civil Engineering of Barcelona. The Department offers a doctoral degree in Regional Planning and Transport Engineering and collaborates with masters and doctoral programs within and outside UPC.

 

ITT is divided into various subdivisions, within which there are four research groups—EXIT, CENITGRECDH, and MATCAR—and the research centers: Laboratory for Road Engineering Research, Laboratory for Social Studies in Civil Engineering (LESEC), Laboratory for Transportation Analysis and Modeling (LAMOT), Laboratori d'Infrastructures, Territori i Paisatge (IntraScapeLab) and the Center for the Study of Historical Monument Restoration (CIEPAC).

 

ITT enjoys the financial support and collaboration of numerous public and private entities. ITT has created the Abertis and CERCLE d'Infrastructures academic chairs.
